Hello all,
I am a new member to Maui Apple Users Group and would like to be of service if I can be. I would say my skills are “average,” and I have been an Apple owner/user since the Apple IIe. I am unable to attend meetings as I have a regular Tuesday night obligation. But I would love to help beginners. And I am having a difficulty with iTunes right now. . . wondering if anyone might be willing to hear my questions and help out? I don’t want to be a “taker” though. I really love helping others. . . .

Has anyone downloaded Snow Leopard? Any problems? (I read some people are having connectivity problems, like with their networked printer.)

I have used it to control a PC from a Mac and a Mac from a PC.

It is also a place where you can get help to fix your computer problems.

CUPERTINO, California—January 21, 2009—Apple® today announced financial results for its fiscal 2009 first quarter ended December 27, 2008.

The Company posted record revenue of $10.17 billion and record net quarterly profit of $1.61 billion, or $1.78 per diluted share.

These results compare to revenue of $9.6 billion and net quarterly profit of $1.58 billion, or $1.76 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 34.7 percent, equal to the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 46 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
