There seems to be an issue with D-Link brand routers and RoadRunner Cable internet. Email works fine, but internet is slow is the issue reported. I have had 6 clients in the Kula, Haiku area with this problem. This issue seems to be around DNS numbers. By manually entering the DNS numbers into your Network settings on each computer both PC and Mac seems to resolve the issue. The DNS numbers entered are as follows:

24.25.227.55

Aloha all,
Our child’s school has purchased, and/or leased new Mac’s. They have a Mac Mobile Lab with 10 Mac Books and 10 iMacs. The old Dells are still in place as well with a network that doesn’t seem to be supporting the school’s use of the Macs very well.

Great teachers with desire to get the most out of the Macs are getting frustrated with the problems.

Need some ideas from you all to help them enjoy the Macs and use them for teaching, as well as iLife projects for school fun and moral. Any network ideas or key, knowledgeable folks we ought to contact to help out will be appreciated.

Mahalo,
