January 2016 Meeting

Wednesday January 20, 2016 6:00 – 8:00 PM At Maui College (Laulima Bldg. Rm. 211)

Topic: Security and Malware Protection for Mac and iOS

Happy New Year from Maui Apple Users Society! We thought we would start the new year with a topic of great interest.  Security for your Apple devices. As Apple products have become more popular, there has been an increase in adware, scamware, scareware and fake security pop-ups. Join us this month as we take a look at these tactics used, discuss and show how it happens, and how to protect yourself from these attacks. As always, we will save time for your questions and comments. For directions to our meetings, click here.
