In response to the recent wildfires here on Maui, the Maui Apple User Society will be working on a program to get Refurbished Mac computers into those in need. There are three ways you can help:
- We are accepting monetary donations so we can purchase chargers, keyboards, and mice for Apple devices. Our goal is to get about 40-50 Apple devices to individuals impacted by the fires.
- If you have an Apple MacBook, iMac, iPad devices 2015 or newer, that can be refurbished or used for parts, we will accept them. Contact Rick at info@mauimac.org to drop off items.
- On September 30, 2023 from 2-5 we are looking for 15 volunteers to help organize, setup, and assess the refurbished computers so we can get them out to individuals. Again email info@mauimac.org if you can help.
